Fairview is situated on the Isle of Wight, noted for its' stunning scenery, warmer climate and friendly welcome. Many people choose to live or spend their holidays here.

Newport is the principle town and main shopping centre on the Island, situated with it's own harbour at the end of the Medina River.  It is an attractive town with two elegant squares and many fine town houses which date from Georgian and Victorian times. It is also home to the Isle of Wight's Royal castle - Carisbrooke Castle now looked after by English heritage.

It has excellent transport links via roads and buses making it easily accessible from any part of the Island. The Island is also well connected to the mainland  via Redfunnel hi-speed and vehicle services between Cowes and Southampton, the Hovercraft taking passengers from Portsmouth to Ryde across in less than 15minutes and the Wightlink Fastcat and the Car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne.
